Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - Business Operations Finance in Atlanta to support Technology department spend and M&A activities. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Product and Technology Finance and requires weekly in-office presence.

The position emphasizes strong analytical skills, advanced Excel and data visualization, and the ability to influence business decisions while improving processes. Knowledge of GAAP and planning tools is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent with FP&A/strategic analysis experience.
• Master's degree with 2+ years or PhD with 1+ year; non-degree with 8+ years also acceptable.
• Experience supporting product/tech teams is a plus.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain investment activity model for monthly results, forecasting and budgeting.
• Coordinate M&A integration financial activity.
• Support expenditures in Enterprise Platforms and Infrastructure & Operations.
• Assist with monthly P&L forecasts and annual budget process, including capex.
• Improve data collection, automation, and standardization methods.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to aid business decisions.
• Interpret financial data, project financials, and variances to identify trends.
• Handle multiple assignments and competing priorities under deadlines.
