Job summary

Truist seeks a Financial Planning & Analysis professional to provide financial analysis and reporting to support strategic profit planning. The role supports the annual plan, forecasts, and month-end close, working with executives and LOBs to understand drivers and improve performance.

The successful candidate will build financial models, perform variance analyses, and present insights. A Bachelor's in Business or Finance is required, with 2–4 years of relevant experience and proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance or equivalent education
• 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, profit planning or forecasting
• Ability to build financial models and perform analysis on income statements and balance sheets
• Drive to improve processes and operate efficiently
• Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with basic computer applications including MS Office

Responsibilities

• Support profit planning and forecasting process for Truist and subsidiaries.
• Compile reports from an LOB and consolidated perspective for executive review.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses using Truist tools as requested by management.
• Maintain controls and documentation for key processes and reports.
• Collaborate with FP&A and LOBs to develop accurate profit plans and forecasts.
• Compute variance analyses and monthly performance reports for leadership.
• Develop alternative forecasting methods and participate in related training programs.
