Job summary

Heartland Bank and Trust Company seeks a Senior FP&A Analyst to lead interest rate risk modeling, budgeting and forecasting, and management reporting. You will collaborate with business leaders to deliver timely insights and drive performance.

You will manage the planning model, produce monthly reports (income statement, balance sheet, KPIs), and create dashboards to monitor liquidity and business results, supporting management with ad hoc analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Finance or Accounting and minimum 5 years bank or corporate finance preferred or equivalent
• Familiarity with Asset Liability Model and Planning/Forecasting Model
• Familiarity with Jack Henry Silverlake core system
• Familiarity with report writing tools such as Cognos or Power BI
• Advanced Excel skills such as pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, and visualizations

Responsibilities

• Manage interest rate risk model and produce reports for interest rate scenarios.
• Administer planning model and reporting tools to prepare rolling forecast and annual budget.
• Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast; summarize key drivers and present findings to management.
• Produce and distribute monthly management reporting, including income statement, balance sheet, and key performance metrics.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor line-of-business performance, including liquidity monitoring and reporting.
• Respond to ad hoc analytical requests from senior management and business unit leaders.
