Job summary

American Credit Acceptance is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to partner with Treasury and Controllership to model financials, forecast budgets, and generate routine reports. You will build sophisticated models to support long-term capital planning and strategic decisions.

In this role you will communicate insights to drive business performance in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with multiple departments to optimize operations and financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in corporate finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• SQL and BI (PowerBI, Tableau) experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail and focus on the big picture.
• Ability to function in a fast paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Self-directed with high analytical initiative to ask questions, dig deeper, and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business problems within the company with a focus on improving processes within the CFO organization.
• Partner with various departments regarding performance metrics and efficiencies.
• Create sophisticated financial models to assist long-term capital planning and forecasting.
• Evaluate impacts of new business opportunities aligning with ACA’s financial goals.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses requested by Management in a timely manner.
• Maintain and enhance routine financial reporting.
• Other tasks as assigned.
