Job summary

Petmate is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team, driving forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis to inform senior leadership. You will partner with Product, Sales, Marketing and Operations to build tools that improve profitability, scenario planning and cash flow oversight.

The role requires strong modeling, Excel expertise, and clear communication, with mentorship to junior analysts and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive FP&A experience.
• Experience in Manufacturing/CPG is a plus.
• Strong budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience.
• Costing and data reconciliation from ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly variance analysis for assigned business areas, with clear narratives and driver decomposition.
• Build and maintain forecasting models, scenarios, and KPI reporting.
• Analyze top customers and product categories for profitability and pricing impact.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, IT and Operations to support strategic decisions.
• Prepare executive‑level presentations and reporting for leadership.
• Lead ad hoc financial analyses and special projects.
