Job summary

Fleet Feet Sports is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in a hybrid Carrboro, NC role. You will partner with leaders to drive planning, forecasting, and reporting, building advanced models and delivering actionable insights across departments.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years in FP&A or corporate finance, strong Excel/ERP skills, and excellent communication to influence decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
3–5 years of progressive FP&A, Corporate Finance or Financial Analysis experience.
Experience supporting multiple business leaders within a mid-sized company ($100M–$1B revenue preferred).
Experience with AI-assisted Excel analysis and productivity tools.
Strong understanding of financial statements and business performance drivers.
Demonstrated experience preparing monthly management reporting.
Advanced financial modeling skills.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to influence without direct authority.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Own monthly management reporting packages and executive summaries.
Analyze monthly results; explain revenue, margins, expenses and EBITA variances.
Develop commentary on drivers, risks and opportunities.
Partner with Accounting to ensure timely, accurate reporting.
Improve reporting automation and efficiency.
Prepare periodic financial reports and presentations for leadership.
Track KPIs, maintain dashboards, provide variance analysis with actions.
Drive continuous improvement in processes and data accuracy.
Serve as finance partner for departments; manage budgeting and forecasting.
Support cost-benefit analyses, investments and financial recommendations.
Monitor spending trends and forecast accuracy; support system administrations.
