Job summary

The Senior FP&A Analyst at Milwaukee County Transit System will support financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and strategic decision-making, partnering with the CFO and the finance team to turn data into actionable insights.

You will develop budgets, build financial models, analyze key drivers, and present findings to senior leadership to guide resource allocation and long-range planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, budgeting, financial analysis, or related discipline.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to set targets and monitor performance, driving corrective actions.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
• Prepare and present monthly actuals, forecasts, and variance analyses with insights.
• Build and refine financial models and scenario analyses for executive decisions.
• Monitor labor, operating costs, and key drivers to identify opportunities.
