Edward Rose & Sons, LLC is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Bloomfield Hills team. You will analyze financial performance, build models, and advise on strategic directions for real estate operations or development projects.

The role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, and executive-level reporting, with mentoring of other analysts. Strong Excel skills and experience with FP&A are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible financial analysis, FP&A, real estate, development, construction finance, or related experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including modeling, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, scenario analysis, and large-data analysis.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, variance analysis and reporting.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities; able to translate findings into recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to executives and non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and develop models for decision support.
• Prepare reports on financial performance for leadership reviews.
• Identify trends and potential causes of financial impacts.
• Develop reporting and forecasting tools for efficient data use.
• Support Investment Committee and senior leadership with analyses and scenario modeling.
• Lead financial process improvements and mentor other analysts.
