Seres Smith Consulting seeks a Senior FP&A Analyst in Tulsa, OK to provide advanced financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support for an engineering, equipment, and service business. The role emphasizes cash generation and value creation in a PE-influenced environment.

The candidate will develop models, evaluate performance, and translate financial data into actionable leadership recommendations, partnering across departments and preparing investor-ready reporting packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• 5+ years FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical experience.
• Demonstrated exposure to private equity via portfolio company or investor reporting.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; able to build models independently.
• Strong understanding of EBITDA, working capital, cash flow, and enterprise value.
• Experience in engineering/manufacturing or project-based business preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and Power BI preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range plans with leadership.
• Build and maintain integrated financial models (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Analyze monthly results vs budget/forecast and explain drivers.
• Evaluate project profitability, backlog, bookings, revenue timing, and costs to complete.
• Partner with engineering, project management, sales, and accounting to improve forecast accuracy.
• Prepare reporting on revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, working capital, cash flow, and KPIs.
