Job summary

American Commercial Barge Line is seeking a Senior Financial Planning Analyst in Jeffersonville, IN (Onsite). You will support financial planning, forecasting, and annual budgeting processes, delivering monthly variance analysis, revenue/trend analyses, and stakeholder reporting.

You will help develop grounded operating plans, perform rolling forecasts, and mentor teammates to adhere to FP&A best practices while driving data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• 5+ years of financial and data analysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly financial analysis comparing with plan, prior year and forecast.
• Assist in the development of a grounded and challenging annual operating plan.
• Prepare regular rolling forecasts and perform trend analysis.
• Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for stakeholders.
• Analyze historical financial data to develop annual budgets for assigned business units.
• Mentor other team members and align best practices across the FP&A function.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
