Job summary

PTS Advance is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst with a Manufacturing and Fabrication background to partner with operations and leadership. You’ll own budgeting, forecasting, monthly analysis, reporting, and financial modeling to drive improved performance.

You’ll collaborate across Accounting, Operations, Sales, and Corporate Finance to ensure accurate financial information and support strategic decisions. This hands-on role requires communicating complex financials to non-finance leaders, building

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, modeling, variance analysis and reporting skills.
• Advanced Excel skills with formulas and pivot tables.
• Analytical, problem-solving mindset with data storytelling.
• Ability to communicate financials to non-finance leaders.
• Excellent organization and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with Oracle EPM or ERP systems is a plus.
• CMA, MBA, or CPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as FP&A partner for Marine and Construction lines, collaborating with operations and leadership.
• Lead monthly close analysis, comparing actuals to budget/forecast.
• Own annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Build financial models and what-if analyses for decision-making.
• Analyze revenue, gross margin, OPEX, working capital, and profitability.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities with operations.
• Prepare monthly business reviews and KPI reports for leadership.
• Support pricing, capex, and other investments with models and business cases.
• Improve efficiency and usefulness of financial reporting and planning.
• Ensure revenue recognition aligns with policies and standards.
• Support audits and SOX compliance.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, Sales, and Corporate Finance.
