Job summary

Aptyx Manufacturing in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team. You will partner with Operations, Sales, and leaders to deliver insights, improve reporting and forecasting, support budgeting and long-range planning.

This role focuses on building financial models, analyzing results, and delivering dashboards and actionable guidance to drive cost savings and growth across manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field is required.
• 2–4+ years of relevant financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, operations finance, or business analytics experience.
• Manufacturing, life sciences, medical device, or multi-site operations experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, and automation; experience with macros or Power Query preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations, Sales, and leaders to develop budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Build and maintain financial models evaluating growth, profitability, and performance.
• Analyze results, identify trends, and translate findings into insights for leadership.
• Prepare monthly reporting, variance analysis, and management commentary by unit/department.
• Use BI and reporting tools to deliver dashboards and actionable performance insights.
• Develop scalable FP&A reporting processes, automation, and BI capabilities.
• Create business cases and analyses for strategic initiatives and capital investments.
• Review costs, productivity metrics, and opportunities for margin improvement.
