Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to provide financial insights to guide strategic decisions in Salt Lake City. You will partner with Finance leadership across the organization to support planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.

You’ll develop financial models, identify key drivers, and translate complex data into actionable recommendations for leadership and cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience.
• Strong financial planning, forecasting, modeling, and analytical skills.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, reporting, and key business drivers.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for financial audiences.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting and planning with department leaders.
• Prepare accurate financial forecasts, projections, and performance reports.
• Analyze profitability, trends, costs, and performance vs. budget/forecast.
• Build financial models to support short- and long-term decisions.
• Deliver financial reporting across region, product, and customer areas.
• Translate data into clear insights and leadership-ready recommendations.
• Collaborate with leaders to improve financial understanding and data-driven decisions.
• Support capital planning, including capex analysis and proposals.
• Provide financial analysis for strategic initiatives targeting growth and cost savings.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting and processes across the organization.
• Work with Corporate Finance and cross-functional partners on organizational goals.
• Assist M&A and other strategic projects as needed.
