Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience as a financial analyst, preferably in professional services.
• Proficient understanding of three financial statements; solid accounting concepts.
• Advanced Excel with complex financial modelling.
• Ability to present findings clearly and answer questions.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking skills.
• East Coast candidates must be willing to work West Coast business hours as needed.
• PowerBI training and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reporting packages for executive team and firm leadership.
• Develop financial models to forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual results.
• Automate and improve reporting, forecasting, and recurring analyses.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the firm and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Explain period-over-period fluctuations and budget-to-actual variances.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting outcomes.
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
• Conduct market research to evaluate risks and opportunities.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Finance & Accounting.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and information.
