Job summary

Bluebird Fiber is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to lead financial models, forecasting, and reporting in our Kansas City office. You will craft dashboards and analyses for leadership, lenders, and select M&A activities, ensuring data integrity and insightful financial storytelling.

The role emphasizes building three-statement models, cash flow analysis, and strategic planning, with strong Excel, Power BI, and ERP experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
5+ years in FP&A or related financial analysis roles.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
Experience building three-statement operating models.
Experience preparing lender, board, or investor materials.
Strong understanding of financial statements and cash flow analysis.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day forecast updates, budgeting templates, long-range planning files, and recurring FP&A deliverables.
Maintain integrated financial models covering revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, CapEx, working capital, and liquidity.
Develop forecasts for MRR, bookings, installs, churn, renewals, customer profitability, and capital projects.
Reconcile model inputs to source systems and investigate data discrepancies across financial and operational data.
Prepare monthly variance analyses and business driver summaries for leadership review.
Build and maintain models for debt financing, refinancing, and private debt placement analyses.
Maintain debt schedules, liquidity forecasts, and covenant metrics.
Prepare lender and investor diligence materials for Director review.
Create BI dashboards and automated reporting using Power BI, Datarails, Excel, and ERP systems.
