Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is seeking a FP&A Specialist - EPNA in a hybrid role for candidates near Moon Township, PA and nearby locations. The role focuses on providing reliable financial analysis to support decision making, including annual planning, monthly forecasts, and financial metrics.

Responsibilities include preparing forecasts and budgets, conducting variance analysis, leading month-end close, and driving process improvements with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
• No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Moon Township, PA, Highland, IL, Roanoke, VA, Washington, PA, Amarillo, TX, or Syracuse, NY to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyze financial forecasts, operating budgets and strategic plans.
• Provide in depth analysis on financial performance and root cause variances to forecasts.
• Report the daily progress of the business toward the monthly established goals, giving the management team the first line of reporting to trends in the marketplace.
• Perform detailed SG&A expenditure analysis to identify trends and areas in need of cost control focus.
• Perform Business Unit month-end closing procedures, complete account reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Work collaboratively with the department to propose and implement process improvement ideas to enable more accurate and faster reporting.
• Analyze Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash flow statements for domestic & international business units.
• In certain situations, will act as team lead regarding process improvements and evaluations.
• Strong focus on implementing standard work across the EPNA businesses including documentation for knowledge sharing
• On an ongoing basis, identify areas of improvement; research best practices, and offer guidance and recommendations for Plant Controllers to process changes and potential solutions
