Job summary

Ardagh Metal Packaging is seeking a driven FP&A analyst to support day-to-day financial planning and analysis processes. You will assist in monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, while preparing analyses and commentary for leadership.

This role interfaces with multiple functions and offers exposure to senior leaders. You will contribute to close collaboration with cost center owners, drive variance analysis, and participate in annual budget cycles and strategic planning efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• 3–6 years of relevant financial experience, preferably FP&A.
• Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist FP&A manager with monthly, quarterly reporting and analysis.
• Develop reports and variance analysis with commentary on drivers.
• Support P&L and balance sheet forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Lead SG&A reporting and provide monthly insights versus budget and forecast.
• Assist in ad-hoc analyses and presentations for CFO and senior management.
• Contribute to annual budget cycle and month-end close support.

Role Description

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Financial Reporting this role will support the day-to-day FP&A activities including reporting, analysis, forecasting in addition to assisting in annual budgeting and multi-year strategic planning processes. This role will also help with monthly accounting support as needed. The role will touch all aspects on the business and interface with various functions. It is a highly visible role with frequent exposure to senior leaders in the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the FP&A manager and team with periodic monthly, quarterly reporting and analysis work
• Develop reports and bridges / walks to compare actual results to forecast, budget and last year and associated commentary related to drivers of the variances
• Assist in process improvement and financial model development in the FP&A area, including P&L and balance sheet
• Lead SG&A reporting and analysis, providing monthly insights on performance versus budget and forecast, supporting annual plan development, and driving forecast accuracy through close collaboration with cost center owners
• Help with and lead ad-hoc analysis and presentation of business results as requested by the CFO and senior management
• Assist in the annual budget cycle with reporting / analysis and process improvements
• Support month-end close process
• Other special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• 3-6 years of relevant financial experience, preferably FP&A
• Manufacturing experience a plus
• Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Self-starter with good energy and initiative
• Detail orientation with analytical experience
• Collaborative style with proven written and verbal communication skills
• Strong results orientation with good work ethic

Salary

The anticipated base annual salary range for this role is between $95,900.00 and $143,900.00 per year. This role is bonus eligible. The bonus incentive program is based on the company meeting or exceeding certain targets. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate and is only applicable for roles that are based out of Illinois. The final salary will be determined after considering relevant factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, experience, and work location, where appropriate.
