Job summary

Amazon in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who builds reports, develops financial models, and translates data into actionable recommendations to influence business decisions at scale.

You will partner with Operations, FP&A, Product and Controllership to deliver weekly and monthly financial reviews, automate workflows, and drive process improvements that strengthen controls and scale reporting across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (or equivalent with 5+ years of experience)
• 3+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience
• Experience with Excel, SQL, and financial modeling

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial reports and models to address business questions and audit discrepancies.
• Analyze financial data using Excel and SQL to extract insights and support leadership decision-making.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to strengthen controls and scale reporting.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product and Finance partners to understand challenges and communicate findings clearly.
• Lead projects with limited oversight to deliver value-add enhancements and maintain SOPs.
