Job summary

Ecotech Hydro Excavation is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) to lead financial planning and analysis, delivering budgets, forecasts, and insights to drive profitability and cash performance. The role collaborates with operations, fleet, sales, and accounting, using Excel, Power BI, SQL, and ERP.

This is an in-office position with occasional travel to yards, branches, and job sites. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in FP&A, strong Excel and BI skills, and a track record of building

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/CPA/CFA progress a plus.
• 5+ years FP&A or financial analysis experience.
• Experience in construction, field services, utilities, or equipment-intensive industries is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Consent to background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and rolling forecasts in partnership with department leaders.
• Prepare monthly budget vs. actual analyses with commentary.
• Build and maintain financial models: P&L, cash flow, scenario analyses.
• Evaluate capex and fleet investments; ROI and lease vs. buy decisions.
• Analyze data from ERP and BI tools to support decisions.
• Prepare monthly leadership/owner/ lender reporting packages.
