Job summary

Talon Hiring Solutions' client in the Birmingham, AL area is seeking a Senior FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis in partnership with business leaders.

You will develop bottom-up budgets by store and channel, build annual models, analyze variances, and prepare reports and presentations for executives and the Board. This role drives profitability through advanced analytics and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of progressive FP&A or related experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning at company and department levels.
• Develop bottom-up sales plans by store and channel with KPI alignment.
• Build annual budget models, forecasts, and predictive models.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare variance analyses, period-end reports, and board-ready packages.
• Create dashboards and analytical tools to improve decision-making and efficiency.
• Support FP&A processes and internal controls.
