800flowerscareers is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support Shared Services across the enterprise, including Technology, Call Center, Product & AI, Finance, and HR. You will manage budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, modeling, and reporting for multiple departments, driving cost controls and strategic insights in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

The role requires at least four years in finance or accounting, with strong Excel, Oracle, and office software skills.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong communication and collaboration across management levels.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support the expense budget and forecast process for assigned departments by working with various teams to distribute, prepare, and consolidate budgets, forecasts, and related reports.
• Monitor financial performance for multiple departments.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, including analysis and explanations of budget versus actual results.
• Assist with the forecasting process by gathering data from department heads and analyzing trends to project future expenses.
• Input updated forecasts into financial systems and analyze variances from budget and previous forecasts.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses as requested by senior leadership.
• Promote and maintain a proactive expense control mindset.
• Assist Corporate and Brand Controllers, and the VP of Finance, with the monthly close process.
• Work on complex financial issues requiring in-depth understanding of operations and financial concepts.
