Job summary

StevenDouglas is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a growing finance organization in the aerospace sector. You will work closely with senior leadership on financial planning, analysis, reporting and decision support, bringing 2–5 years of FP&A experience in a manufacturing or inventory-driven environment.

The role will involve building financial models, budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans, with exposure to acquisitions, capital investments and KPI-based analysis.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of progressive financial analysis / FP&A experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience within manufacturing, distribution, aerospace, industrial, or inventory-driven businesses strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build and maintain financial models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans.
• Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with accounting, operations, supply chain, and business leaders to support decision-making.
• Analyze inventory, gross margin, pricing, COGS, working capital, and operational KPIs.
• Prepare monthly management reporting and variance analysis.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
• Assist with financial analysis related to acquisitions, capital investments, and growth initiatives.
• Build and improve reporting tools, dashboards, and financial models.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to senior leadership.
