Senior FP&A Analyst at Empower. This role serves as the go-to finance partner for one of Empower’s key sales distribution channels. Location: Santa Barbara, CA.

What You Will Do
- Build, maintain, and refine financial models and forecasts to support business strategy and planning
- Lead monthly reporting and annual budget preparation for assigned business areas
- Serve as the FP&A contact for one sales distribution channel; deliver ad-hoc analysis and partner with cross-functional stakeholders
- Present financial results, variance analysis, and recommendations to senior leadership
- Analyze trends in revenue, expenses, and business drivers to inform strategic decisions
- Identify, track, and report on KPIs, ensuring stakeholders have the insights they need
- Continuously improve reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Math, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of FP&A or related experience, including at least 2 years in finance, FP&A, or investment banking
- Advanced Excel and strong financial modeling skills
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners in Sales, Marketing, or Product
- Clear and confident communication skills — able to simplify complex financial concepts for non-financial audiences
- Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy, organizational skills, and a knack for improving processes
What Will Set You Apart
- Experience in financial services or a fast-paced, highly regulated industry
- Familiarity with advanced data visualization or reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Comfort working in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders
- Proactive track record of identifying opportunities to improve financial processes or business outcomes

Base Salary Range: $77,900.00 - $110,000.00
The salary range reflects typical base pay for this position in the listed location. Non-sales roles may participate in a bonus program; sales roles may be eligible for sales incentives or bonuses. Actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience, education, licensure requirements, and skill level. Final offer will be provided at offer time.
