Job summary

TransUnion in Florida is seeking a Senior Analyst I in Financial Planning & Analysis to support forecasting, budgeting, and decision support in a hybrid role requiring weekly in-person collaboration at an assigned office. You’ll partner with business leaders and Accounting to improve forecast accuracy and business insight.

You will build financial models, prepare monthly and quarterly reports, and perform variance analyses to explain performance and help guide investment prioritization.

• 3+ years in financial planning & analysis including budgeting, forecasting and monthly close.
• Experience preparing financial reports and explaining variances and trends.
• Ability to build financial models and business cases for growth.

Team Overview

The Global Solutions organization supports global growth and profitability across five strategic solution areas: Credit Risk, Specialized Risk, Fraud, Marketing, and Consumer Solutions. This position will primarily support the Global Fraud Solutions family by providing financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and business decision support. The role sits within Iovation Finance and will interact with associates, business leaders, and executive-level management. This role reports to Director of Finance, Planning and Analysis. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview and Core Responsibilities

• Support quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting cycles by preparing financial reports, analysis, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reports covering operating results, key trends, and financial performance.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of actual results against budgets and forecasts, identifying and explaining key variances.
• Partner with business leaders to research financial questions, investigate variances, and provide insights that support decision-making.
• Collaborate with the Accounting team during month-end and quarter-end close activities to improve the accuracy and predictability of financial results.
• Develop and review business cases and financial models that support future growth opportunities and business prioritization.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and support special projects designed to improve forecasting accuracy and provide additional business insight.
• Support and expand financial processes and workstreams created through TransUnion’s Ways of Working initiative.

Required Knowledge and Experiences

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial close activities.
• Experience preparing financial reports and performing variance and trend analysis to explain business performance.
• Experience developing financial models and business cases to support growth initiatives and investment prioritization.
• Ability to partner with business leaders, Accounting teams, and management while communicating financial information clearly.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills used for forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and business case development.
• Experience preparing and analyzing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet-based financial analysis and reporting.

Pay Scale Information:

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $72,300.00 - $105,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job‑related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan.
