Cherry Bekaert LLP in the United States is seeking a Senior Associate in FP&A Advisory Services to deliver financial planning and analysis engagements for middle-market clients, including private equity-backed portfolio companies. You will build scalable forecasting models and support CFOs in strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years FP&A, corporate finance, or consulting experience.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and R for data analysis.
• Deep understanding of forecasting principles and financial statements.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and scenarios.
• Experience with budgeting tools/ERPs (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Adaptive Insights).
• Strong organization and communication skills; 40% travel.

Responsibilities

• Support 13-week cash flow forecasts and long-range financial models.
• Design and optimize budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Develop KPI dashboards for financial and operational metrics.
• Perform scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses.
• Analyze margins and profitability by product/customer/BU.
• Analyze working capital and liquidity; track spend/revenue trends.
• Stakeholder interviews to validate assumptions; data transformation.
• Create visuals using Excel and BI tools; support M&A readiness.
