Job summary

Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC in Atlanta seeks a Senior Associate in FP&A Advisory Services to deliver financial planning and analysis engagements for middle-market clients, including private equity-backed portfolios. You will support CFOs in building scalable forecasting models and enabling strategic decision-making.

You will develop 13-week cash flow forecasts, design budgeting processes, KPI dashboards, scenario modeling, and liquidity analysis to drive value creation across client teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 3+ years FP&A/corporate finance/consulting in mid-market or PE-backed environment.
• Proficiency in Python/SQL/R and data languages; strong Excel and modeling skills.
• Experience with budgeting tools and ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Adaptive Insights) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop 13-week cash flow forecasts and long-range financial models.
• Design and optimize budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Create KPI dashboards and financial/operational metrics.
• Perform scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis.
• Analyze margins and profitability by product, customer, or business unit.
• Conduct working capital and liquidity analysis.
• Analyze department-level spend and revenue trends.
• Conduct client interviews and stakeholder engagement to validate assumptions.
• Transform data and visualize insights using Excel and BI tools.
• Support M&A readiness and integration planning.
