  • Manage strategic accounts: Take responsibility for post-launch performance, product adoption, customer retention, usage growth, and account expansion across a focused portfolio of high-value customers.
  • Build and deploy product improvements: Investigate performance issues, analyze customer interactions, identify opportunities for improvement, and independently build, test, and deploy production changes in collaboration with Forward Deployed Engineers.
  • Drive customer success and expansion: Develop trusted relationships with customer executives, understand their business objectives, identify new use cases, and build compelling business cases for broader product adoption.
  • Navigate enterprise implementation requirements: Coordinate procurement, security, legal, and compliance reviews to ensure deployments meet customer requirements and progress efficiently toward launch.
  • Translate customer needs into product strategy: Identify recurring challenges across deployments, present evidence-based recommendations to Product teams, and follow critical issues through to implementation.
  • Leverage AI development tools: Use AI-powered agents and development tools to investigate problems, experiment with solutions, accelerate implementation, and deliver improvements without depending on engineering resources for every change.
  • Build scalable operating practices: Convert lessons learned from customer deployments into reusable playbooks, tools, and processes that improve consistency and efficiency across the forward-deployed organization.
  • Mentor and support colleagues: Coach other Forward Deployed Product Managers, share technical and commercial expertise, and help establish best practices for managing complex enterprise accounts.
  • Own commercial outcomes: Monitor account performance against contractual commitments, identify opportunities to increase usage and revenue, and balance customer satisfaction with sustainable business growth.

  • Enterprise relationship management: Demonstrated success building trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and driving account retention, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
  • Technical problem-solving: Ability to investigate complex issues independently by working with API documentation, conversation logs, product behavior, and usage data to identify root causes and implement solutions.
  • Hands-on AI experience: Practical experience building or experimenting with AI-powered products, agents, or workflows, including the ability to evaluate results critically and explain what worked, what did not, and why.
  • Product and implementation expertise: Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, coordinate deployments, prioritize improvements, and measure outcomes against clearly defined objectives.
  • Startup and scale-up experience: Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where processes are still evolving and where individuals are expected to take ownership, make decisions, and build systems while delivering results.
  • Commercial acumen: Ability to understand customer business models, identify expansion opportunities, connect product capabilities to business value, and manage accounts with a focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Communication and collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with executives, engineers, product teams, and customer-facing colleagues.
  • Leadership and initiative: A track record of improving team effectiveness through mentoring, coaching, process development, or building reusable tools and systems.
  • Adaptability and learning mindset: Strong curiosity, a customer-focused approach, and a willingness to experiment, learn quickly, and operate effectively in ambiguous situations.
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • Experience working in fintech, healthcare, or another highly regulated industry.
    • Experience influencing product roadmaps through customer research, deployment insights, and evidence-based recommendations.
    • Experience deploying AI products and connecting their performance to measurable customer or business outcomes.
    • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or similar platforms.
Benefits
