Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to build, operate, and strengthen production applications on Palantir Foundry and AIP. You will work with business users and engineers to translate operational challenges into production data pipelines, ontology-backed workflows, Workshop apps, and AIP features, writing production Python code with proper security and audit controls.

The role requires 6-8 years of software engineering, hands-on Palantir Foundry experience, and strong

Qualifications

6-8 years of software engineering experience, incl. 3+ years building production data apps or AI workflows.
Hands-on with Palantir Foundry, pipelines/transforms, Ontology, Workshop, functions, or security controls.
Strong development skills in Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark; TypeScript or Java; REST APIs.
Experience translating operational workflows into production applications with undefined end states.
Production deployment, monitoring, failure handling, governance, provenance, and human-review controls.

Responsibilities

Build production data applications and data pipelines on Foundry.
Develop ontology objects and actions; create Workshop apps.
Build AIP workflows with provenance, evaluation, and human confirmation for actions.
Collaborate with business users and internal engineering teams to translate requirements into production solutions.
