Job summary

Camunda is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to take ProcessOS from first file to a live, improving system at enterprise customers. You will work end-to-end across Java services and React interfaces, measuring performance, scaling fault tolerance, and delivering value in real-world deployments.

You’ll collaborate with a global team, own deployment journeys, and help shape product patterns for future customers while maintaining governance, auditability, and human oversight.

Qualifications

• Enterprise production experience: shipped inside a large organization and stayed to operate it.
• Technical depth: debug integrations, stand up a Camunda cluster, explain BPMN to engineers and business leads.
• Stakeholder communication: work across engineering, architecture, and business leadership with precision.
• Practical AI experience: used AI to solve real production problems, with context management and testing.
• Comfort with ambiguity: make sound judgments without a playbook and document learnings.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and prove: own the journey from first process file to production workflow with measurable gains.
• Drive organizational adoption across technical and business stakeholders to build lasting customer capability.
• Work at depth technically: configure Camunda clusters, debug integration failures, build custom agents and connectors.
• Build the playbook: document good deployment practices to speed future work.
• Feed the product: contribute custom agents and codified integration patterns back to ProcessOS.
• Hand off deliberately: ensure customers have a trained team that can operate independently.
