AiStudio Artificial Intelligence Technologies Ltd is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own client engagements from scoping through deployment. You will make architecture calls, translate executive objectives into technical scope, and mentor engineers to uphold engineering standards.

The role requires strong executive presence, proven production-system ownership, and the ability to push back when the ask doesn’t hold up.

AiStudio is an AI consultancy that embeds engineers directly inside portfolio companies of leading private equity firms. We don’t sell software from the sidelines. We deploy engineers into the businesses themselves to build and ship AI solutions that move real metrics: cost savings, automation, revenue. We work with PE firms and their portfolio companies, building production systems ranging from workflow automations powering firm-wide operations to AI enhanced due diligence.

The role

As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you’re the technical owner of a client engagement. You’ll scope what gets built and why, ship it, and be the person in the room when an operating partner or a portfolio company CEO wants to know whether it worked. You’ll also set the standard for the engineers working alongside you.

What you’ll actually do

• Own client engagements end to end, from the first scoping conversation through to a deployed system the business depends on

• Make the architecture calls, including the ones about what not to build

• Work directly with senior stakeholders at PE firms and portfolio companies, translating business objectives into technical scope and pushing back when the ask doesn’t hold up

• Mentor FDEs on your engagements and set the technical standard for how we ship

• Spot further opportunities inside an account once you’re embedded

What we look for

• 7–10 years of engineering experience, ideally including forward deployed, solutions, or another client facing engineering role

• Track record of shipping production systems you owned, not just contributed to

• Genuine comfort in front of executives. You can hold a room and disagree well

• Judgement about scope. Knowing which problems are worth solving with software and which aren’t
