Job summary

Green Key Resources seeks a senior software engineer with deep Palantir Foundry experience to own ontology-driven design and data pipelines in Arlington, VA. You will work across Ontology Manager, Workshop, Actions, and Pipeline Builder to deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires 6+ years in software engineering or systems integration, strong Python/TypeScript/Java skills, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain secret clearance.

Job description

Own ontology-driven application design and delivery in Palantir Foundry, from enterprise ontology objects, relationships, and business logic through the Workshop applications, operational dashboards, and Actions that operational teams and leadership run on.

Build and maintain data pipelines integrating enterprise, operational, GIS, and ERP source systems, and partner with stakeholders to translate complex operational requirements into scalable Foundry solutions.

Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks, and establish governance for ontology lifecycle management, object reuse, and release promotion across environments.

Support production operations, incident response, and root cause analysis on mission-critical systems, participate in operational readiness exercises and release activities, and mentor engineers on ontology design and Foundry best practices.

Requires 6+ years of software engineering or systems integration with deep hands-on Foundry experience across Ontology Manager, Workshop, Actions, and Pipeline Builder, plus Python, TypeScript, or Java. Utility, energy, emergency management, or public safety background is a strong plus.
