Job summary

Kalsec Inc. in Kalamazoo, MI seeks a Senior Formulations Supervisor to lead formulation activities, manage intermediate inventories, and partner with Operations, Quality, Planning, Procurement, and R&D to ensure on-time production and continuous process improvement.

You will oversee formulation operations, drive efficiency, and resolve inventory discrepancies, supporting a high-performing team across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years related experience as an individual contributor and 2+ years managerial experience.
• Experience in managing direct reports.
• Strong mathematical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee formulation of finished goods and intermediates using multiple equipment.
• Manage inventory levels to support production planning.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Planning, Procurement, and R&D.
• Lead and develop the Formulations team; assign workloads.
• Drive continuous improvement and compliance with SOPs.
• Coordinate recalls and transfers from off-site warehouses.
• Monitor inventory discrepancies and resolve issues.
