Zoho in Berkeley, CA is seeking a Senior Formulation Chemist to develop new formula prototypes, run lab testing, and ensure product quality across processes. The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 5+ years of formulation experience preferred, and on-site work.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE), mixtures experiments, and statistical approaches.

Responsibilities

Develop new formula prototypes and conduct lab testing to drive product innovation.
Partner with cross-functional teams to manage technical readiness for projects.
Participate in production trials and support scale-up from lab to pilot plant through manufacturing.
Maintain detailed records of experiments, stability testing, and analytical results.
Analyze and interpret test data to identify opportunities for product enhancement.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures for consistent results.
Collaborate with product development and provide real-time updates on testing progress.
Maintain laboratory safety protocols in compliance with regulations.
Order and manage lab supplies and raw materials to keep testing on schedule.
Partner with external suppliers to stay current on industry trends.
