CONMED Corporation in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Forklift Operator to support distribution center operations. You will receive, stock, load and unload merchandise and operate heavy equipment to ensure efficient warehouse activity.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, cycle counting, daily equipment checks, replenishing inventory, and assisting with picking/packing for timely shipment while adhering to policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of related experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehousing environment required.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and RF Scanners.
• Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.
• Ability to lift at least 49 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Operate pit equipment efficiently – cherry picker, reach, sit down, and clamp

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles into correct storage bays following inventory control instructors.
• Inventory experience to conduct cycle counting
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Load trucks in parcel on foot
• Assist in replenishing inventory in the warehouse.
• Occasionally assist in the picking and packing of inventory for timely shipment.
• Assist with regular compliance reviews against policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
