Job summary

BD is a leading global medical technology company dedicated to advancing health. We are seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move products within our distribution center in Covington, GA.

Responsibilities include pallet handling, operating MHE, RF scanning, and maintaining inventory accuracy with WMS. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED (preferred) and at least 1 year of relevant experience; training for forklift certification will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience, required in lieu of High School Diploma or GED.
• Intermediate experience with either a high reach or counterbalance required.
• Experience with Manhattan WMS, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport palletized product within the distribution center (unload, put away double deep, bulk and full pallet pick, load, replenishment).
• Operate material handling equipment, including high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, and dock stocker.
• Use RF Scanner and WMS to ensure inventory accuracy and track products throughout the site.
• Ensure product integrity while performing all tasks.
• Follow site safety procedures, including required PPE (safety vest, safety shoes).
• Cross train and become knowledgeable in other areas. Provide backup support when required.
