Senior Forescout Engineer – DoD Network Security Lead

Job summary

ECS Federal LLC in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Sr. Forescout Engineer to join our on-site team with occasional remote work. You will design, integrate, and deploy Comply-to-Connect for DoD networks, focusing on network security posture and NAC using Forescout.

The role requires hands-on engineering, documentation, and collaboration with government stakeholders. You will analyze architectures, solve complex networking issues, and contribute to a robust, secure enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to gain interim secret clearance or have secret clearance or better.
• US Citizen.
• DoD 8570 IAT II.
• 6+ yrs. experience working in a DoD environment (Contractor/Civilian/Military).
• Forescout Certified Engineer (FSCE).
• Experience with Network Access Controls.
• Experience with projects across development lifecycles (analysis through implementation).
• Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize competing requirements.
• Proficient with MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Visio.
• High attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication.
• Networking, telecom, or application development experience.
• Apply IT industry security standards to secure network environments.
• Document system configurations and supporting materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide Engineering support for Comply to Connect on multiple DoD networks.
• Establish and maintain network analysis and monitoring tools with health reporting.
• Recommend improvements to stability, availability, reliability and performance.
• Resolve complex networking and technology issues with multiple parties.
• Develop process and architecture diagrams.
• Identify remediation and mitigation of DISA STIG findings.
• Provide program status reports and briefings to management and government oversight.
• Work with enterprise networks and NAC in diverse environments.
• Contribute to design, integration and deployment of DoD network solutions.
