Job summary

EFI Global, a global engineering and forensic investigations firm, seeks a Senior Forensic Structural Engineer, P.E. to join the Las Vegas area team. You will lead complex failure analyses, assess roof and building envelope integrity, and provide expert opinions for insurers and litigations.

Requires a PE license and proven expert-witness experience; multi-state licensure is a plus. The role offers flexibility in work location with strong client engagement and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in resident state; multi-state licensing preferred.
• Expert witness testimony experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Determine origin and cause, and extent of structural failures and related damages.
• Survey losses and loss scenes at residential and commercial buildings.
• Investigate and document damage from recent events; determine origin of failure.
• Analyze and document failure analysis and causation; prepare detailed reports.
• Collaborate with other investigators; serve as expert witness in court/depositions.
• Document and maintain billable hours for forensic projects.
