Job summary

You will conduct field investigations, perform structural analyses, and produce reports with repair recommendations, while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team; travel about 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of New York.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural analysis, evaluation, and design of structures (buildings, bridges, industrial facilities, etc.) or building envelope systems.
• BS degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or Architecture.
• MS degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or Architecture is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the condition and potential causes of distress to a wide range of structural buildings and facilities.
• Perform field investigations of site conditions and analyses of structural components.
• Produce written reports detailing findings and recommended repairs.
