Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management and act as the primary project lead.
  • Coordinate with clients for site visits and deliverables.
  • Manage project resources and deadlines.
  • Produce detailed reports based on inspections, testing, and research.
  • Perform site visits and laboratory examinations.
  • Review and interpret relevant building codes.
  • Oversee development of repair or replacement scopes if requested.
  • Make independent decisions regarding analysis and resource allocation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Active PE license required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • CFEI Certification preferred.
  • At least 10 years of forensic mechanical engineering experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to write comprehensive technical reports.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Additional Details:

  • This is a remote role, with residency required in specific locations: Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Los Angeles/Southern California, or New England states.
  • Salary range: $140,000 - $275,000 USD annually.
  • Senior Level: Mid-Senior.
  • Employment type: Full-time.
