Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead investigative projects, coordinating with clients and managing resources.
  • Perform site visits, laboratory examinations, and data collection on various properties.
  • Write comprehensive technical reports, analyze data, and determine causes of failure.
  • Review and interpret building codes relevant to the scope of work.
  • Oversee development of repair or replacement designs if requested.
  • Make independent decisions on analysis methods and resource allocation.
  • Ensure timely project delivery and maintain client rapport.
Qualifications
  • Active PE license required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • CFEI certification preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in forensic electrical engineering or relevant design experience.
  • Proven ability to produce detailed technical reports.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Additional Details
  • This is a remote role; candidates must reside in the San Francisco Bay or Sacramento areas.
  • Salary Range: $140,000 - $275,000 USD annually.
  • Seniority level: Mid-Senior level.
