Job summary

HelloConnect is seeking a detail-oriented data forecasting analyst to join our team in BGC. You will develop and run SQL queries to validate forecast data, perform quality checks, and investigate discrepancies to ensure reliable BAU forecasting and support future automation.

You’ll collaborate with Forecast Analysts and other stakeholders, document validation procedures, and help standardize processes to improve efficiency and forecasting accuracy while delivering clear, data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis, forecasting support, or related operations.
• Proficient in writing SQL queries for data validation.
• Experience with data quality checks and reporting.
• Exposure to forecasting, inventory planning, or commercial analytics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute SQL queries to validate forecast data.
• Conduct data quality checks to identify discrepancies and anomalies.
• Investigate forecast issues by analyzing datasets and historical trends.
• Assess impact, track recurring problems, and propose corrective actions.
• Standardize validation checks and streamline manual processes.
• Develop reusable SQL queries and document validation steps.
• Support testing of forecasting processes and automation opportunities.
• Prepare analyses for forecast reviews and operational reporting.
• Analyze historical trends to explain forecast movements.
• Prepare BAU forecasts using established methodologies.
• Apply assumptions and ensure consistency.
• Communicate findings and forecast risks clearly.
• Collaborate with Forecast Analysts and stakeholders.
