Job summary

Genentech seeks a Data Analytics Senior Manager to lead forecasting tool development and optimization. You will design, code, and prototype the analytical logic powering forecasting products, collaborating with product managers and forecasters to deliver scalable insights and robust models.

You will work with data science, data engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure quality, interpretability, and impact, while maintaining compliance and governance standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, BI, or related roles.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, Excel, or similar.
• Experience with building forecast models and machine learning including MLOps.
• Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Google Cloud).
• Strong ability to translate data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Drive analysis of large and complex datasets to generate actionable insights for forecasting product development.
• Lead the building and scaling of forecasting models and tools for driverless and driver-based forecasting.
• Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and provide recommendations.
• Aggregate data from multiple sources to refine epidemiology models.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design analytics solutions.
• Present insights to senior leaders in a clear and impactful manner.
