Columbia Sportswear is seeking a Senior Product Developer to manage the end-to-end development of footwear from concept to commercialization. The role requires coordinating timelines, reviewing technical drawings, and ensuring design integrity across global supply chains.

You will work closely with product development leadership, design, and merchandising to select materials, partners, and production approaches while maintaining detailed project plans and regular status updates.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of footwear development experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and manage timelines.

Responsabilités

• Develops product specifications from concepts to confirmation for assigned models.
• Coordinates development plans with timelines and provides progress reports to leadership.
• Maintains communication with overseas development staff and vendors to resolve issues.
• Reviews blueprints, 3D files and mold details to ensure design integrity and functionality.
• Collaborates with design and merchandising to source materials and construction options.
• Travels 15-25% between US and Asia to manufacturing facilities.
