Job summary

Central Market is seeking a leader to direct Production and Sales across Non-Perishable, Perishable, and Food Service departments. The role reports to the General Manager and aims to delight customers, satisfy partners, and meet company objectives.

You will supervise multiple departments via department managers, maintain compliance, train and develop Partners, and provide exceptional service while optimizing costs and vendor relations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related experience or equivalent
• Equivalent education and/or training may be considered
• Experience with team leadership and coaching preferred

Responsibilities

• Make employment-related decisions and recommend department strategies.
• Oversee merchandising, product mix, costs, and supervise Partners via department managers.
• Direct overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the unit.
• Ensure compliance with regulations for freshness, safety, sanitation.
• Supervise Non-Perishable, Perishable, and Food Service departments and merchandising.
• Maintain vendor relations and communicate expectations to Central Market.
• Conduct employment interviews and performance appraisals.
• Train and develop Partners.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
