Zusammenfassung

Newly Weds Foods is seeking a Sr. Scientist to lead formulations from concept through full-scale commercialization at our Broadview, IL site. You will work closely with customers and manufacturing teams to deliver innovative, safe, and cost-effective products.

The role requires 6+ years in food R&D, a relevant degree, plant-trial leadership, and strong communication skills to translate technical needs into actionable development plans and successful launches.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of direct hands-on R&D experience; liquid food/beverage preferred.
• Proven experience scaling products from bench to full manufacturing with plant trials.
• Experience interfacing with customers in a technical capacity (co-development, troubleshooting).

Aufgaben

• Lead formulation development from concept through commercialization, meeting sensory, quality, cost, and shelf-life goals.
• Collaborate with operations to scale formulations from bench to plant and validate processes.
• Lead plant trials, establish product specs, and perform process validation.
• Interface with customers to understand requirements and translate them into development strategies.
• Manage cross-functional teams across short- and long-term innovation and commercialization projects.
