Nationwide Food Recruiters has lined up a Sr. Food Scientist opportunity just outside of Salem, MA. The role centers on building an R&D department, guiding product development, scale-ups, and market analysis within a growing food manufacturer.

You will lead reformulations, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and report to the VP Operations, with a strong emphasis on autonomy and impact in a new facility near the ocean.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of R&D experience in food/beverage manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in a science field (Food Science or Chemistry).
• Experience with FDA/USDA product development.

Responsibilities

• Build an R&D department from the ground up.
• Oversee full cycle R&D processes including reformulations.

Our client is building a new facility and has asked us to find a Sr. Food Scientist to build an R&D department from the ground up! This individual will play a key role in product development, production, scale ups, market analysis, trend identification, establishing processes and procedures, hiring a team, budgeting & more.

Location: Salem, MA

Type: Onsite - Full Time

Compensation: $120,000-$135,000 + Bonus

Requirements to be considered:

• 6+ years R&D experience within food and/or beverage manufacturing

• Must have product development experience with fda & usda products
