Job summary

A rapidly expanding restaurant group is seeking a Purchasing Manager/Buyer to oversee procurement for food ingredients, packaging, and supplies across multiple states. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in the foodservice industry, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain supplier relationships efficiently. This role offers a salary range of $90,000 – $110,000 per year, along with health insurance, paid time off, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing experience in the restaurant, foodservice, or food manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience.
• Proficiency with Excel/Sheets; experience with ERP or inventory systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase food ingredients and supplies for restaurants and commissary kitchens.
• Maintain accurate product lists, pricing, and vendor contacts.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with teams to ensure product availability.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate pricing.
