Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician in Oxnard, CA to maintain and repair store facilities and a range of food equipment. You will use plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and MHE skills to keep equipment safe, functional, and compliant with food safety standards.

You will lead preventative maintenance, respond to urgent repair requests, train store associates on equipment care, and document work orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or Technical certification in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trades with 5 years' experience, or 7 years' experience in these trades.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and climb ladders; comfortable working at heights.
• 1 year experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple crafts (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, MHE, food equipment).
• Use the work order system to receive and document reactive repairs.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
