Citizant in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Senior Software Developer to lead the FMxC2 application, guide architecture decisions, and mentor teams. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of experience providing technical leadership, software architecture, or lead developer support.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise software solutions.
- Experience conducting code reviews, mentoring developers, and establishing software development best practices.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining enterprise applications using COBOL and C#.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with source code management, version control, and CI/CD tools.
- Strong leadership, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Local to Montgomery, AL.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of software capabilities supporting the FMxC2 application.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
- Evaluate solution alternatives and architectural impacts.
- Perform code reviews and establish development standards.
- Mentor developers and promote knowledge sharing.
- Design and support enterprise integrations and interfaces.
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of complex issues.
- Support modernization, cloud migration, and technical debt reduction initiatives.
- Participate in backlog refinement, estimation, and release planning activities.
- Collaborate with Government stakeholders, program leadership, and technical teams.
- Support cybersecurity compliance and vulnerability remediation efforts.
