Job summary

Blue Origin in Merritt Island, Florida is seeking an experienced engineer to coordinate the schedule and priorities of fluids and propulsion design work. You will contribute to the fluids strategy and ensure safe, reliable spaceflight.

Responsibilities include designing fluid subsystems, working with valves, regulators, and 3D CAD (Creo) and FEA (ANSYS), and leading testing and data analysis. A BS in engineering and 5+ years in aerospace propulsion are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace propulsion and fluid systems.
• Experience with spacecraft or launch vehicle fluid systems design or test.
• Detailed design experience for aerospace fluid components.
• Strong understanding of valves, regulators, tubes, and fittings.
• Ability to earn trust and work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and route fluid subsystems such as pressurization and propulsion components.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure system compatibility.
• Lead design verification testing and data analysis per standards.
• Deliver documentation and reports following ASME Y14.5 GD&T.
